The Translating Europe Forum (TEF) is DG Translation’s flagship 3-day annual conference bringing together language professionals in Brussels and online.

What does quality really mean in translation? How can we achieve it – and what are the consequences when we don’t? We’ll explore these questions from multiple perspectives, including the growing role of AI in supporting and assessing clear language and translation quality. 
This year’s Forum will open with a morning programme dedicated to clear language. We’ll address topics such as consensus on using clear language across organisations and clear language in the media.
Join leading voices from industry, academia and the translation profession for in-depth discussions and networking opportunities. Students and early-career professionals are especially welcome.
