Bristol Translates: Literary Translation Summer School 2024

Aimed at practising translators at any stage of their career and at language enthusiasts who want to explore the world of literary translation, Bristol Translates offers the opportunity to work with leading professional translators to translate texts across different literary genres.

New this year: We are also offering workshops for translators working out of English.

Bristol Translates summer school takes place entirely online. Workshop groups are limited to a maximum of 12 students. The programme features language-specific translation workshops, both into and out of English, as well as hands-on sessions about various aspects of today’s translation sector, industry talks and professional and networking sessions.
