The programme is designed to facilitate a connection between a translator working from Catalan into another language and a translator working in the reverse direction, allowing them to remain in contact throughout the process of translating a work from Catalan into the target language. For instance, a translator from Catalan into Turkish can seek answers to queries about the text with the assistance of an AELC member who translates from Turkish into Catalan.

The service will involve a series of virtual or face-to-face meetings to address any doubts.

The AELC consultant will be remunerated by the AELC, while the translator working from Catalan will receive the consultancy service free of charge.

The specific arrangements must be agreed upon by both parties.

Those interested in participating in the programme are invited to submit a request to

specifying the language they are translating into and the book to be translated.
